DESCRIPTIONThe American Diabetes Association wants you, a professional in the Accounting profession to assist with ADA's Accounting Services department. The incumbent will help assist with the maintenance of account reconciliations, adjusting subledger entires, subledger analytical analyses, among other accounting and financial tasks. In addition, the incumbent will work as part of a team to develop tools, spreadsheet templates, and analysis, related to ADA?s monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in the non-profit industry, revenue recognition, proficiency in MS Excel as it relates to general functionality, pivot table analyses, and intermediate formulas and functions, problem resolution skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to successfully multi-task.
REQUIREMENTS* Bachelor's degree in Accounting
* General knowledge of GAAP and Fund Accounting
* Must have 1-3 years of general ledger accounting experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proven success as a team player across several departments
* Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
